Genesis 3:1 — Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, "Indeed, has God said, `You shall not eat from any tree of the garden'?"
Genesis 3:4 — The serpent said to the woman, "You surely will not die!
Job 1:6-10 — Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and (I.e. the adversary, and so throughout chs 1 and 2) Satan also came among them. The LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?" Then Satan answered the LORD and said, "From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it." The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil." Then Satan answered the LORD, "Does Job fear God for nothing? ~"Have You not made a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
Job 1:11-12 — ~"But put forth Your hand now and touch all that he has; he will surely curse You to Your face." Then the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, all that he has is in your power, only do not put forth your hand on him." So Satan departed from the presence of the LORD.
Matthew 4:1 — Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.
Matthew 4:8-11 — Again, the devil *took Him to a very high mountain and *showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory; and he said to Him, "All these things I will give You, if You fall down and worship me." Then Jesus *said to him, "Go, Satan! For it is written, `YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND SERVE HIM ONLY."' Then the devil *left Him; and behold, angels came and {began} to minister to Him.
Matthew 12:24-27 — But when the Pharisees heard {this,} they said, "This man casts out demons only by Beelzebul the ruler of the demons." And knowing their thoughts Jesus said to them, "Any kingdom divided against itself is laid waste; and any city or house divided against itself will not stand. ~"If Satan casts out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then will his kingdom stand? ~"If I by Beelzebul cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast {them} out? For this reason they will be your judges.
Matthew 12:28-29 — ~"But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you. ~"Or how can anyone enter the strong man's house and carry off his property, unless he first binds the strong {man?} And then he will plunder his house.
Matthew 13:19 — ~"When anyone hears the word of the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil {one} comes and snatches away what has been sown in his heart. This is the one on whom seed was sown beside the road.
Matthew 13:38-40 — and the field is the world; and {as for} the good seed, these are the sons of the kingdom; and the tares are the sons of the evil {one;} and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is the end of the age; and the reapers are angels. ~"So just as the tares are gathered up and burned with fire, so shall it be at the end of the age.
Matthew 25:41 — "Then He will also say to those on His left, `Depart from Me, accursed ones, into the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels;
Mark 3:21-25 — When His own (Or {kinsmen}) people heard {of this,} they went out to take custody of Him; for they were saying, "He has lost His senses." The scribes who came down from Jerusalem were saying, "He is possessed by Beelzebul," and "He casts out the demons by the ruler of the demons." And He called them to Himself and began speaking to them in parables, "How can Satan cast out Satan? ~"If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. ~"If a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.
Mark 3:26-27 — ~"If Satan has risen up against himself and is divided, he cannot stand, but he is finished! ~"But no one can enter the strong man's house and plunder his property unless he first binds the strong man, and then he will plunder his house.
Luke 10:17-20 — The seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name." And He said to them, "I was watching Satan fall from heaven like lightning. ~"Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you. ~"Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven."
Luke 13:11-14 — And there was a woman who for eighteen years had had a sickness caused by a spirit; and she was bent double, and could not straighten up at all. When Jesus saw her, He called her over and said to her, "Woman, you are freed from your sickness." And He laid His hands on her; and immediately she was made erect again and {began} glorifying God. But the synagogue official, indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, {began} saying to the crowd in response, "There are six days in which work should be done; so come during them and get healed, and not on the Sabbath day."
Luke 13:15-16 — But the Lord answered him and said, "You hypocrites, does not each of you on the Sabbath untie his ox or his donkey from the stall and lead him away to water {him?} ~"And this woman, a daughter of Abraham as she is, whom Satan has bound for eighteen long years, should she not have been released from this bond on the Sabbath day?"
Luke 22:31-32 — "Simon, Simon, behold, Satan has demanded {permission} to sift you like wheat; but I have prayed for you, that your faith may not fail; and you, when once you have turned again, strengthen your brothers."
John 8:38-42 — ~"I speak the things which I have seen with {My} Father; therefore you also do the things which you heard from {your} father." They answered and said to Him, "Abraham is our father." Jesus *said to them, "If you are Abraham's children, do the deeds of Abraham. ~"But as it is, you are seeking to kill Me, a man who has told you the truth, which I heard from God; this Abraham did not do. ~"You are doing the deeds of your father." They said to Him, "We were not born of fornication; we have one Father: God." Jesus said to them, "If God were your Father, you would love Me, for I proceeded forth and have come from God, for I have not even come on My own initiative, but He sent Me.
John 8:43-44 — ~"Why do you not understand what I am saying? {It is} because you cannot hear My word. ~"You are of {your} father the devil, and you want to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth because there is no truth in him. Whenever he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own {nature,} for he is a liar and the father of lies.
John 12:31 — ~"Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.
John 13:2 — During supper, the devil having already put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, {the son} of Simon, to betray Him,
John 13:27 — After the morsel, Satan then entered into him. Therefore Jesus *said to him, "What you do, do quickly."
John 16:8-11 — ~"And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment; concerning sin, because they do not believe in Me; and concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father and you no longer see Me; and concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world has been judged.

Revelation 9:11 — They have as king over them, the angel of the abyss; his name in Hebrew is (I.e. destruction) Abaddon, and in the Greek he has the name Apollyon.
Revelation 12:9 — And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.
Revelation 12:11-12 — ~"And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death. ~"For this reason, rejoice, O heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, knowing that he has {only} a short time."
Revelation 20:10 — And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
