What is the Christian view of psychics?

Psychics are those who claim to tell the future. The Bible contains multiple instances of fortune tellers and psychics, and every time they’re mentioned they end up being possessed by a demon. The Bible even warns us away from any sort of dark art or witchcraft. It all is not of God, which means it’s from Satan. Anyone who meddles in black magic subjects themselves to demonic powers beyond their control.
