Run The Race

 
  • Jeremiah 12:5 — "If you have run with footmen and they have tired you out, Then how can you compete with horses? If you fall down in a land of peace, How will you do in the thicket of the Jordan?
  • Luke 16:10"He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much.
  • Luke 19:17~"And he said to him, `Well done, good slave, because you have been faithful in a very little thing, you are to be in authority over ten cities.'
  • 1 Corinthians 9:24-27 — Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but {only} one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.
    Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then {do it} to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable.

    keeping faith and a good conscience, which some have rejected and suffered shipwreck in regard to their faith.
  • 1 Timothy 6:12 — Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses.
  • 2 Timothy 2:5 — Also if anyone competes as an athlete, he does not win the prize unless he competes according to the rules.
  • 2 Timothy 2:10 — For this reason I endure all things for the sake of those who are chosen, so that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus {and} with {it} eternal glory.
  • 2 Timothy 4:7-8 — I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;
    in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.
  • Hebrews 12:1-3 — Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,
    fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
    For consider Him who has endured such hostility by sinners against Himself, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
  • James 1:12 — Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which {the Lord} has promised to those who love Him.
  • 1 Peter 5:4 — And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.
