  • Psalms 101:6 — My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; He who walks in a (Or {way of integrity}) blameless way is the one who will minister to me.
  • Matthew 4:11 — Then the devil *left Him; and behold, angels came and {began} to minister to Him.
  • Matthew 27:54-56 — Now the centurion, and those who were with him keeping guard over Jesus, when they saw the earthquake and the things that were happening, became very frightened and said, "Truly this was the Son of God!"
    Many women were there looking on from a distance, who had followed Jesus from Galilee while ministering to Him.
    Among them was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of the sons of Zebedee.
  • Luke 3:23 — When He began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age, being, as was supposed, the son of Joseph, the son of Eli,

    to occupy this ministry and apostleship from which Judas turned aside to go to his own place."
  • Acts 6:2-4 — So the twelve summoned the congregation of the disciples and said, "It is not desirable for us to neglect the word of God in order to serve tables.
    ~"Therefore, brethren, select from among you seven men of good reputation, full of the Spirit and of wisdom, whom we may put in charge of this task.
    ~"But we will devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the word."
  • Acts 13:1-2 — Now there were at Antioch, in the church that was {there,} prophets and teachers: Barnabas, and Simeon who was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
    While they were ministering to the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, "Set apart for Me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them."
  • Acts 20:24 — ~"But I do not consider my life of any account as dear to myself, so that I may finish my course and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify solemnly of the gospel of the grace of God.
  • Acts 20:33-35 — ~"I have coveted no one's silver or gold or clothes.
    ~"You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my {own} needs and to the men who were with me.
    ~"In everything I showed you that by working hard in this manner you must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He Himself said, `It is more blessed to give than to receive.'"
  • Acts 24:23 — Then he gave orders to the centurion for him to be kept in custody and {yet} have {some} freedom, and not to prevent any of his friends from ministering to him.
  • Acts 26:15-16 — ~"And I said, `Who are You, Lord?' And the Lord said, `I am Jesus whom you are persecuting.
    ~`But get up and stand on your feet; for this purpose I have appeared to you, to appoint you a minister and a witness not only to the things which you have seen, but also to the things in which I will appear to you;
  • Romans 15:15-16 — But I have written very boldly to you on some points so as to remind you again, because of the grace that was given me from God,
    to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles, ministering as a priest the gospel of God, so that {my} offering of the Gentiles may become acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
  • Romans 15:26-27 — For Macedonia and Achaia have been pleased to make a contribution for the poor among the saints in Jerusalem.
    Yes, they were pleased {to do so,} and they are indebted to them. For if the Gentiles have shared in their spiritual things, they are indebted to minister to them also in material things.
  • 1 Corinthians 12:4-7 — Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit.
    And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord.
    There are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all {persons.}
    But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.
  • 1 Corinthians 16:15-16 — Now I urge you, brethren (you know the household of Stephanas, that they were the first fruits of Achaia, and that they have devoted themselves for ministry to the saints),
    that you also be in subjection to such men and to everyone who helps in the work and labors.

  • 2 Timothy 4:5-7 — But you, be sober in all things, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.
    For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come.
    I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith;
  • Philemon 1:12-13 — I have sent him back to you in person, that is, {sending} my very heart,
    whom I wished to keep with me, so that on your behalf he might minister to me in my imprisonment for the gospel;
  • Hebrews 1:13-14 — But to which of the angels has He ever said, "SIT AT MY RIGHT HAND, UNTIL I MAKE YOUR ENEMIES A FOOTSTOOL FOR YOUR FEET"?
    Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out to render service for the sake of those who will inherit salvation?
  • Hebrews 6:10 — For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints.
