    Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
    For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not {come to} know God, God was well-pleased through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe.

  • Hebrews 5:12-14 — For though by this time you ought to be teachers, you have need again for someone to teach you the elementary principles of the oracles of God, and you have come to need milk and not solid food.
    For everyone who partakes {only} of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant.
    But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.
  • Hebrews 6:1-2 — Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,
    of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment.
