Matthew 3:16 — After being baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove {and} lighting on Him,
Matthew 28:19-20 — ~"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age."

Jesus answered and said to him, "What I do you do not realize now, but you will understand hereafter."
John 13:8-11 — Peter *said to Him, "Never shall You wash my feet!" Jesus answered him, "If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me."
Simon Peter *said to Him, "Lord, {then wash} not only my feet, but also my hands and my head."
Jesus *said to him, "He who has bathed needs only to wash his feet, but is completely clean; and you are clean, but not all {of you.}"
For He knew the one who was betraying Him; for this reason He said, "Not all of you are clean."
Acts 2:38 — Peter {said} to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:41 — So then, those who had received his word were baptized; and that day there were added about three thousand (I.e. persons) souls.
Acts 8:12-13 — But when they believed Philip preaching the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were being baptized, men and women alike.
Even Simon himself believed; and after being baptized, he continued on with Philip, and as he observed signs and great miracles taking place, he was constantly amazed.

When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away; and the eunuch no longer saw him, but went on his way rejoicing.
Acts 10:43-46 — ~"Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins."
While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those who were listening to the message.
All the circumcised believers who came with Peter were amazed, because the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also.
For they were hearing them speaking with tongues and exalting God. Then Peter answered,
Acts 10:47-48 — "Surely no one can refuse the water for these to be baptized who have received the Holy Spirit just as we {did,} can he?"
And he ordered them to be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked him to stay on for a few days.
Acts 16:14-15 — A woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple fabrics, a worshiper of God, was listening; and the Lord opened her heart to respond to the things spoken by Paul.
And when she and her household had been baptized, she urged us, saying, "If you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house and stay." And she prevailed upon us.
Acts 16:30-34 — and after he brought them out, he said, "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?"
They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."
And they spoke the word of the Lord to him together with all who were in his house.
And he took them that {very} hour of the night and washed their wounds, and immediately he was baptized, he and all his {household.}
And he brought them into his house and set food before them, and rejoiced greatly, having believed in God with his whole household.
Acts 18:8 — Crispus, the leader of the synagogue, believed in the Lord with all his household, and many of the Corinthians when they heard were believing and being baptized.
Acts 19:1-4 — It happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus, and found some disciples.
He said to them, "Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?" And they {said} to him, "No, we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit."
And he said, "Into what then were you baptized?" And they said, "Into John's baptism."
Paul said, "John baptized with the baptism of repentance, telling the people to believe in Him who was coming after him, that is, in Jesus."
Acts 19:5-6 — When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.
And when Paul had laid his hands upon them, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they {began} speaking with tongues and prophesying.
Acts 22:16 — ~`Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name.'
Romans 6:4-6 — Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.
For if we have become united with {Him} in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be {in the likeness} of His resurrection,
knowing this, that our old self was crucified with {Him,} in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin;
Romans 10:1-4 — Brethren, my heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is for {their} salvation.
For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.
For not knowing about God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.
For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
Romans 10:8-10 — But what does it say? "THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, IN YOUR MOUTH AND IN YOUR HEART"--that is, the word of faith which we are preaching,
that if you confess with your mouth Jesus {as} Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.
Romans 10:13 — for "WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED."
Romans 15:13 — Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

2 Peter 3:9 — The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.
