SON OF MAN
(See CHRIST; SON OF GOD)
While the title Son of Man clearly identifies Jesus with humanity (Matthew 8:20; 11:19), it also designates Him as the divine Messiah whom the Father grants world-wide rulership in His coming kingdom (Daniel 7:13-14; Matthew 25:31; 26:64; cf. Psalms 80:17). "Son of Man" is the title Christ most frequently used of Himself.
