GOSPEL
The Christian gospel is the good news of God's salvation for man provided through Christ's substitutionary death and bodily resurrection (Romans 1:16-17; 1 Corinthians 15:3-4; Ephesians 1:13). The gospel of salvation originates in God's sovereign grace and is experienced only through personal faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:16; 20:31; Acts 16:31; Romans 3:22-26; Ephesians 2:8-9).
