ABORTION
Abortion is the induced expulsion of an unborn child in order to terminate its life. Thus abortion is distinct from premature birth (cf. Exodus 21:22 marg.) or miscarriage (Exodus 23:26; Psalms 58:8; Hosea 9:14). Although Scripture does not mention abortion explicitly, certain biblical principles do apply to abortion.
