What does your life look like compared to what God wants it to look like? Are you making progress? Are you moving in the right direction? Here are some good measures to check if your life is on track for God.

We should always do these things for God, and never to impress people or look good. But, as people observe your character, this is what they notice.

1. I have hope for a good future - I look forward to life ahead - Jeremiah 29:11
2. People see me as a person of integrity - Proverbs 10:9
3. People think I have a great attitude - Romans 8:31
4. People see me as enthusiastic, never giving up - Hebrews 12:1
5. People think I have a good sense of humor, but not hurtful - Job 8:21, Ephesians 5:4
6. People see me as wise, having good advice, making good decisions - Genesis 41:33
7. People view me as a person of courage - Deuteronomy 31:6
8. People know me as working towards holiness, towards having a godly character - 1 Peter 1:16
9. People view me as a person of strong faith - Matthew 21:22
10. I am hospitable - people feel comfortable around me - Hebrews 13:2
11. I have a healthy self-image - I have a good perspective on myself - Psalm 139:14
12. People see me as honest and sincere - Psalm 120:2-4
13. People see me trusting in God more so than myself - 2 Corinthians 12:10
14. I value every person, and look for ways to include everyone - Luke 5:30
15. People view me as hard-working - Colossians 3:23
16. People see me as fair and sensitive - James 5:4
17. People view me as a good listener and very patient - James 1:19
18. People think I am an encourager, one who lifts others up - 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
19. People view me as a good-finder, seeing the best in others - 2 Corinthians 7:4
20. People find that I am a forgiving person - Matthew 18:21-22
21. People see me as caring and unselfish - Philippians 2:3-4
22. I focus on trying to please God, not worrying so much what people think of me - Galatians 1:10
23. People feel they can trust me, and be open and safe with me - Proverbs 11:13
24. People find me responsible and dependable - Proverbs 25:19
25. People see me as having a servant's heart - Mark 10:45
26. People view me as a happy person - Psalm 5:11
27. People say I am a team player, and willing to sacrifice myself for others - 1 Corinthians 9:19
28. People view me as optimistic - Philippians 4:13, 19
29. People see me as grateful and appreciative, both to them and God - 1 Thessalonians 5:18
30. I am not ashamed of the gospel, and am willing to bring God's truth to others (Romans 1:16)
31. People think I am an honorable person and respect me - Titus 1:6-7
