Is God an old man with a beard?

No.

Try and let go of your pictures of God. No man has ever seen Him in all His Glory. We know that God is pure and Holy, is absolute love, three persons in one (Father, Son and Holy Spirit), and is a Spirit.

Be careful of giving God a human image. God is more than you can imagine.

No one has seen God.
God is spirit.
God is light.
God is a trinity, three in one.

James 1:17 — Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow.

1 Timothy 6:15-16 — which He will bring about at the proper time--He who is the blessed and only Sovereign, the King of kings and Lord of lords,
who alone possesses immortality and dwells in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see. To Him {be} honor and eternal dominion! Amen.

1 John 1:5 — This is the message we have heard from Him and announce to you, that God is Light, and in Him there is no darkness at all.

Matthew 28:19 — ~"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

2 Corinthians 13:14 — The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
