Does Satan tempt you?
For Satan to be able to tempt you, he would be able to tempt every person. Satan is not capable of that, because he cannot be everywhere - only God can do that. This is His omnipresence.
God is everywhere and all-knowing, because He made everything. At the same time He is upholding the tiniest of atoms, He is involved the life of every one of the 6 billion people on the earth. We are never out of his sight.
But Satan is a created being, so he can only be in one place at one time. Satan comes and goes. When he rebelled against God, 1/3 of the angels went with him, and are now known as demons. These demons are the ones who actually work with people to draw them away from God and who tempt people to sin.
But remember, "Resist the devil, and he will flee from you." That applies not just to Satan, but to any one of his demons. God is so infinitely more powerful, if you turn to God, Satan has no choice but to flee.
Psalm 139:1-16 — O LORD, You have searched me and known {me.}
You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar.
You scrutinize my path and my lying down, And are intimately acquainted with all my ways.
Even before there is a word on my tongue, Behold, O LORD, You know it all.
You have enclosed me behind and before, And laid Your hand upon me.
Matthew 4:3 — And the tempter came and said to Him, "If You are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread."
Matthew 4:11 — Then the devil *left Him; and behold, angels came and {began} to minister to Him.
Job 1:7-12 — The LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?" Then Satan answered the LORD and said, "From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it."
The LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil."
Then Satan answered the LORD, "Does Job fear God for nothing?
~"Have You not made a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.
~"But put forth Your hand now and touch all that he has; he will surely curse You to Your face."
James 4:7 — Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
