What Does the Bible Say?

Does God hate sinners?

No.

God hates Sin. He hates anything that keeps Him from the people He loves so dearly. Because God is Holy, He cannot exist with Sin in His presence. This is why sinners need a savior.
God hates sin because He loves us so much. He hates being kept from His favorite creation (He loves you more than the animals, earth and the universe).

And God does not Hate the way that man does. Hate for God is righteous. Hate for man is sinful. God’s hate for evil is pure because He never sins. God hates sin but loves even sinners.

God loves sinners and not willing that any should perish.
God is good.
God is merciful.
God is holy.
God is righteous and just.
God is gracious.
God is love.
