The Son of Lawlessness
The "man of sin" or "man of lawlessness" or "lawless one", is also known as the "son of perdition (hell)" or "son of destruction".
What do we know about him?
He is revealed after "the falling away"
He opposes all that is called God or worshiped
He exalts himself above all that is called God or worshiped
He will sit as God in the temple of God (he places himself there)
He shows that he himself is God
He will be restrained until God releases him
He will be consumed with the breath of God's mouth
He will be destroyed with brightness of the second coming
His arrival is in accordance with the works of Satan
With Satan he will show power, signs, and lying wonders
He will work fill with unrighteousness
He will be a deceiver among those who are not Christians
He is the antichrist, who denies that Jesus is the Christ, and who denies the Father and the Son
The spirit of the antichrist is already in the world; every spirit that does not confess that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God (this is the spirit of the Antichrist)
Many deceivers have gone out into the world who do not confess Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
What else from other Scripture?
Many false christs and false prophets will arise, with great signs and wonders. Don't believe them! They will deceive even some of the elect.
In the latter times some will fall away from the faith and teach doctrines and rules that might seem okay but are false
They will have a form of godliness, but in unrighteousness will lead people away from God
People will fall away from the truth because they want to have the ears tickled, i.e. they will follow what those who say what they want to hear, but not the truth (what is it you want to hear? that certain sin is okay?)
When the false prophets come, they will even deny Christ
2 Thessalonians 2:1-2 — Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him,

2 Thessalonians 2:7-10 — For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains {will do so} until he is taken out of the way.

{that is,} the one whose coming is in accord with the activity of Satan, with all power and signs and false wonders,
and with all the deception of wickedness for those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth so as to be saved.

by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron,
{men} who forbid marriage {and advocate} abstaining from foods which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.

For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
