Does the Bible teach evolution?
There are 2 types of evolution - macro evolution and micro evolution. Micro evolution is change within species, and that has been proven empirically and is well documented. Macro evolution is where one species evolves from a different species. This has never been proved empirically, so it can only be inferred based on evidences.
It appears to us based on scientific evidences and the account in Genesis that the earth is roughly around 6,000 years old, and that macro evolution has never occurred.
While is is impractical to defend this perspective in a single article, allow us to list references for those interested in this study.
